7 Killed in Bus Crash

February 2nd, 2009 · No Comments

During a seemingly routine bus ride in Las Vegas, 17 people were either injured or killed.

The ‘normal’ bus ride changed suddenly when it crashed, injuring 10 people and killing 7 of them.

The crash occurred along Highway 93, along Hoover Dam, and the victims of the crash were said to be Chinese tourists.  They had flown from Shanghai to San Francisco and were traveling throughout certain parts of the United States.

Although the names of the victims have not been released, an ongoing federal investigation is trying to determine what caused the crash.  The bus driver, who survived the crash, was taken to a local hospital and his injuries upgraded from severe to fair.

The survivors of the crash have not spoken in detail about those who lost their lives.  All 10 of them are recovering in the University Medical Center in Las Vegas.

Some accidents can be devestating.  They can cause severe injuries and suffering, or even death.  If you or a loved one have gone through this kind of scenario, please contact your Las Vegas personal injury attorney at 702-893-3330
