A UNLV student was killed on Friday, two days after suffering injuries from a car accident on Wednesday.
The accident was caused when a suspected drunk driver hit the car the student was in. The suspected drunk driver, a 45 year-old man, has been charged with death from driving under the influence, involuntary manslaughter, and no proof of insurance.
The student was on the UNLV Rebel Girls dance team. A recent memorial service was held for the girl at her school, which had a tremendous amount of support from the community.
