An NV Energy power plant worker was seriously injured in an electrical accident one of the companies plants.
The accident took place early Tuesday morning. The man was working on equipment when it exploded on him, causing burns to nearly 20% of his body. Most of the burns are on the upper body of the man.
Emergency workers rushed to the scene. The worker had to be airlifted by helicopter to a hospital. The recent status of the employee has not yet been released by the company. More information should be available in the near future.
