A lawsuit has recently been filed for a 2008 death of a couple on their honeymoon. The couple was stranded on Interstate 15 after the vehicle they were traveling in ran out of gas and had a flat. The couple was stranded on the side of the road with a flat tire and were attempting to change it when the accident happened.
The suit was filed against two trucking companies because the couple was eventually hit by a two semi-trailers. The couple was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The interstate was shut down for several hours as authorities conducted an investigation and had to clean up the accident scene.
