A Las Vegas police officer who was on patrol on a motorcycle is lucky to be alive after an accident that could have killed him.

The officer was parked on his bike, when a car lost control because of slippery road conditions.  The car hit the officer and the bike.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene and took the officer to the hospital. They are doing many checks to make sure that the officer did not suffer serious internal injuries, but currently he seems he will make it just fine.
