A Metro motorcycle officer was taken to the hospital following an accident that took place in downtown Las Vegas. The officer was assisting another officer who was in a foot chase with a suspect.
While attempting to assist the other officer, the motorcycle crashed into a pickup truck. The officer had to be taken to the hospital to be treated for ankle and knee injuries.
The individual who was being chased by the officer was eventually caught and arrested.
