A teenager was struck by a motor vehicle at an intersection in Las Vegas on Monday.
Emergency officials arrived at the scene to find that an 18 year-old pedestrian had been hit by a 64 year-old woman. The collision sent the pedestrian into an intersection from the impact of the car.
The intersection was blocked for at least two hours as police responded to the emergency and conducted an initial investigation into the incident. Initial reports indicate that the teenager hit by the vehicle was in critical condition at the time of the accident, although his condition may have improved since the accident.
