An accident in a northeast Nevada mine left one man injured after he fell almost 90 ft on Nov. 13.
Company officials say the 36-year-old-man was hospitalized and eventually flown to Reno for precaution. The accident happened in Elko County at the Hollister underground mine owned by Great Basin Gold Ltd.
His injuries include cuts and a broken rib and he is expected to be OK. The federal and state mining officials are investigating the accident.
