An 18-year-old Las Vegas woman died in a two-car crash Thursday afternoon, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, and the coroner said she died of blunt force trauma to the torso and head. The man in the other car was injured and taken to University Medical Center, police said.
The road was closed to traffic for several hours. Police are still investigating the accident. They do not know which direction each vehicle was traveling, but the coroner ruled the death accidental.
