A 25-year-old man pleaded guilty in a Las Vegas district court Thursday for a count of reckless driving, authorities said, in a fatal crash that killed a 56-year-old pedestrian and seriously injured another. The two pedestrians were in Las Vegas last December for a trade show, reports say. They were walking on a sidewalk when the accident occurred.
The 25-year-old will be sentenced May 13, authorities say. When tested at the time, he did not show signs of alcohol or drugs in his system, police said. He could face up to six years in prison, authorities say.
