A 39-year-old Las Vegas man was seriously injured early Saturday morning after being hit by a car while riding his bicycle in west Las Vegas, police said. He was taken to University Medical Center’s trauma unit with serious injuries, authorities said.
The car’s driver, a 24-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries in the accident, police said. Reports say the man was crossing Valley View Boulevard near West Viking Road on his bicycle when the woman’s car struck him. Police are still investigating the crash.
