A 61-year-old woman was hit by a car Thursday evening near a bus stop while attempting to cross West Tropicana Avenue, authorities said. She suffered traumatic injuries in the pedestrian car crash, police said. The woman was in critical condition Thursday night at University Medical Center, authorities said.
The woman was not on a marked crosswalk at the time of the accident, police said. Neither the car’s driver, a 27-year-old woman, nor her passenger, a 49-year-old man, were injured in the crash, authorities said. Police are still investigating the accident.
