A two vehicle Las Vegas car accident left five people injured on Sunday.
According to officials with the Metro Police, the accident occurred at the intersection of Washington Avenue and 21st Street shortly after 1:20 a.m. Police say a 1997 Ford Mustang was traveling north on 21st Street when it collided with an eastbound 1996 Chevrolet Suburban.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 48 year-old Alexander Taylor, was transported to University Medical Center by responding emergency crews for treatment of moderate injuries. Three teenage passengers of the Ford were transported to a nearby hospital. Information on the nature or extent of their injuries was not available.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the crash. No charges have been filed in connection with the wreck.
